Der CE840 USB True 4K HDMI HDBaseT 3.0 KVM Extender nutzt die neueste HDBaseT 3.0 Technologie und besteht aus einer lokalen Einheit und einer Remote-Einheit, die eine unkomprimierte True 4K HDMI-, Audio-, RS232-, Ethernet- und USB-Signalübertragung über 100 m über ein einziges Cat 6A-Kabel (ATEN 2L-2920 Cat 6A-Kabel empfohlen) oder mehr ermöglicht. Die Installation ist einfach, übersichtlich und kosteneffizient, ohne Kompromisse bei der hochwertigen Verteilung von AV-Inhalten. Der CE840 ermöglicht einen dualen Konsolenbetrieb über die beiden USB-Ports für den Anschluss von USB-Tastatur und -Maus und die Drucktasten zum Umschalten der USB-Steuerkonsole zwischen dem entfernten und dem lokalen Ende. LEDs auf der Vorderseite zeigen an, welcher USB-Steuerungsmodus gerade aktiv ist. Darüber hinaus verfügt jedes Gerät über einen HDMI-Ausgang für die lokale Steuerung und zwei USB 2.0-Ports für den Anschluss von USB-Peripheriegeräten. Auf diese Weise können die Bediener Daten erfassen und die Geräte an einem Ort verwalten, auch aus der Ferne.
